Configuring Statistical packet-based sampling with sFlow

This document includes the steps to configure the statistical packet-based sampling with sFlow.

1. Configure the sFlow receiver IP address

1. Select Monitoring > sFlow > Advanced > sFlow Receiver Configuration.
2. Select the 1 check box.
3. In the Receiver Owner field, enter NetMonitor.
4. In the Receiver Timeout field, enter 31536000.
5. In the Receiver Address field, enter 168.10.2.
   A screen similar to the following will display.
   
   
6. Click APPLY.

A screen similar to the following will display again.

2.Configure the sampling ports sFlow receiver index, sampling rate, and sampling maximum header size.

a.Select Monitoring > sFlow > Advanced > sFlow Interface Configuration.

b.In the Sampling Ratefield, enter 1024.

c.In the Maximum Header Size field, enter 64.

d.Click Apply
