Configuring Netflows
The OTM leverages Netflows as one of its source inputs. NetFlow enables collection traffic flow statistics on routing devices. NetFlow is completely transparent to the existing network, including end stations and application software and network devices like LAN switches. As NetFlow is performed independently on each internetworking device, it should be made operational on each router in the network. Using NetFlow Data Export (NDE), you can export data to a remote device, such as the APE, for data collection and further processing.
