Overview:

This document will help you step by step in VM creation and Seceon server setup with Rocky Linux using Seceon Dropbox.

Steps to create VM / Server with Rocky Linux and environment setup using Dropbox:

 

  1. Download ISO from Seceon Repository:

Please follow the Rocky Linux ISO download link from Seceon All Package Download Links

  1. Create a VM using the downloaded ISO.  

 

 

Seceon Server Setup using Dropbox:

Once VM is created - login as root

#curl -L -o seceon-server-setup-8.0.0.tar.gz https://www.dropbox.com/s/28r0lwjkyq572kw/seceon-server-setup-8.0.0.tar.gz -k 

  1. Untar seceon-server-setup-8.0.0.tar.gz package 

# tar -xvzf seceon-server-setup-8.0.0.tar.gz

  1. # cd seceon-server-setup-8.0.0

  2. # ./seceon-setup.sh 

  1. # reboot

  1. Login as user/password - seceon/seceon using Putty.

  2. Now install APE or CCE using standard commands which is as follows :
    APE - ./install.sh -a or
    CCE - ./install.sh -c follow the link for the Installation of CCE .
