Hardware Specifications Required for Seceon CCE
Overview:
This is latest Recommended Hardware specification. For easier understanding, we have calculated the hardware requirements based on the proposed asset and data flow volume.
Please go with these recommendations to have the best experience with all new features added in platform release >7.3 or higher.
Kindly note that requirements listed here are the minimum required for installation. The exact requirement may vary based on the actual load.

NOTE :
IP requirements - One IPv4 internal routable IP address must be a static IP Address.
*Cores represent total vCPUs in the VM environment and threads on a Hardware Appliance.
e.g. 8-core dual-CPU Appliance with hyper-threading will represent 2*8*2 = 32 threads.
**Based on the volume and the infrastructure architecture additional CCEs may be needed.
Netflow Generator can be run on CCE or as a standalone. When run along with CCE, hardware requirements for CCE should be increased to accommodate Netflow Generator configuration
Traffic Analyzer can be added for raw traffic analysis on the span/mirror port.
For 1Gbps > 4c/8GB DRAM/128GB SSD and for 10 Gbps > 16c/32GB DRAM/256GB SSD required
VM Environments supported: VMWare vSphere (ESXi) 5.5 or later.
