This document will help you step to configure r-syslog on the remote server (CCE)
Steps
If an error is - UDP listener died for port 514, then do the following1. Login/Switch to the root
- 2. vim /etc/rsyslog.conf
- 3. comment out the following lines:
- #$ModLoad imudp
- #$UDPServerRun 514
- 4. save and exit the file
- 5. systemctl restart rsyslog
- Restart rsyslog daemon using command “service rsyslog restart”
